New members are always welcome at Weymouth Astronomy Club regardless of experience. The only pre-requisite required is a keen interest in the night sky.Meetings are held on a monthly basis at Room 5 of St. Aldhelm’s Church Centre Spa Road, Weymouth DT3 5EW
June’s Meeting scheduled for Friday 14th June will include a talk from WAC member Ennio Tabone titled ‘Introduction to Telescopes and Observing’. This talk will be of interest for members and guests who are new to observing or thinking of buying a telescope for the first time. Meeting will also include regular features including ‘Object of the Month’ and ‘What’s up in the sky’ for June.
